"We hired them because they're the professionals"We needed to replace the tub spout which seems simple enough. But this one was stuck so tight I wasn't sure if I would break it or whether I even had the type of spout that screws on or uses a set screw. OrderAPlumber is one of the few companies that even returned my call. They came quickly and showed when expected BUT I was disappointed when the "kid" showed up and didn't have a tub spout on his truck. He told me he would have someone call to schedule a new appointment with the proper spout. So I had to wait another week. I would expect these guys to be prepared, especially when I told them what the issue was before they came. I was also concerned when the kid said that it was a spout that uses a set screw and he suggested that they change it to the 'screw-on' type. I later learned that he was wrong. The company should do a better job at hiring "kids" that know what they're doing and what they're talking about. This is the only reason I didn't give a 5-star rating.
Having said all that, when the next guy finally came, he knew what to do and which type of spout to use and had it fixed quickly. I don't recall his name but he was nice, professional and did a good job.
Plumbers, like a lot of contractors, are never cheap. So I expected to pay more than if I had done it myself. But we hired them because they're the professionals and I'm not. I'm happy with the final work and I would recommend them again.- Matthew R
